Kathryn Hall – Creative & Operations Director

Before AI Global Media was born, Kathryn was a part of the research team at publishing house Assertive Media Group. Prior to this she held an events management and customer service role at David Austin Roses. Kathryn graduated from the University of Wolverhampton after studying English and has a CIM qualification in marketing. Kathryn is passionate about ensuring each of AI Global Media’s brands deliver real value for its customers by enhancing their online presence, and in turn helping them in growing their businesses.

Kathryn is married to Andy and together they have 3 boys, Jake, William and George as well as a dog called Marty (after Marty McFly of course!).  In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys spending time with family, participating in swimming and football with the little ones, as well as writing, running, cycling and experiencing new things and exploring new places.

Jane Henderson – Commercial Director

Jane gained her BSc (Hons) in Human Geography at the Manchester Metropolitan University, spending a year of her course studying abroad at Louisiana State University. Jane has worked in B2B publishing since 2006, and following the launch of AI Global Media in 2010 she has been passionate about the company’s continued growth and development. She is keen to ensure that the firm’s customers have a positive experience and take full advantage of our services to bolster their own marketing and brand development efforts.

Jane married Ed in 2015, they have a young daughter Annie and an obsessive-compulsive Border Collie, Cali! Jane loves overseas travel, skiing, spending time with family and friends and has a keen interest in keeping fit, largely by way of distance running, with 3 marathons under her belt so far.

Tony Garner – Finance Director

Tony is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and has an MBA from the Open University.  He has worked in industry for the whole of his career, gaining experience across a number of business sectors including manufacturing, packaging, entertainment and media, to name a few. Tony does not wear brown suits, ever, but he is passionate in his budget setting, commercial modelling and strategic planning and remains steadfast in his dedication to ensuring the best possible journey for AI’s customers.

Tony has been married to Nikki for over 20 years and has 2 children, a daughter Alicia and a son Niall, as well as 3 dogs. Tony enjoys fishing, both in the UK and overseas, holidaying in Spain, gardening (at a push) and spending time with his wife and children. He is also passionate about giving back to the local community, and as such he coaches a youth football team, the Woodville Rangers, and is a committee member for his local angling association.

Kevin Thompson – Creative Manager

Kevin graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a degree in graphic communications. He joined the team at AI Global Media in 2012 as a designer and quickly rose to the role of Head Designer. Today Kevin heads up the creative team overseeing the design, writing, marketing and brand development functions of the business. Kevin is a truly creative individual, and alongside his team ensures only the best products and services for the business and its readers, web visitors and customers.

Together with his wife Caroline, Kevin enjoys going to the gym and keeping fit, gardening and discovering some of the best sites in the UK, with his favourite getaway destination being Bath.

Joshua Hewitt – I.T. Manager

Josh joined the I.T. team at AI Global Media in 2016, and became a manager in early 2018. Prior to joining AI Joshua worked for WHSmith, as well as for a leading tile manufacturer, so his current role is quite a change! Josh is a Certified CIW Web Foundations Associate and is currently working towards certification in CompTIA A+, Network+ and Server+. He has played an integral part in introducing a CRM system into the business. His problem-solving attitude and in-depth knowledge of various I.T. systems and services ensures AI maintains an adequate I.T. infrastructure to meet business requirements.

Joshua and his girlfriend Alex have a dog, a Labrador/Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross called Zara. Joshua enjoys watching and playing football, going to the gym, and taking country walks as well as holidaying with and socialising with family and friends.

Laura Hunter – Awards Manager

Laura came to join AI Global Media at the start of 2014 as a Research & Features Executive and over the years has risen to the position of Awards Manager.  Laura is highly driven to succeed and is very dedicated to her role and to her team.  Laura’s work ethic is unquestionable, and she is a great asset to the business and to our valued customers.

Laura is married to Niall and together they have a little boy called Logan.  Laura enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exploring new places and experiencing new things.

Mandeep Singh – Sales Manager

Mandeep joined AI Global Media in 2015.  He has worked on a number of projects and publications for the business and now heads up our digital publications sales team.  Mandeep came to us shortly after graduating from the University of Wolverhampton with a degree in Film Production.  Mandeep is very proactive in his approach to his work and to his team, he is a supportive manager and always strives for the best service and the best products for our customers.

Mandeep is married to Nina and they have two rabbits, Chunk and Thumper.  Mandeep enjoys city breaks, exploring new destinations in the UK and overseas and keeping active in his spare time by way of going to the gym and playing football and badminton.

Jeremy Roe – Head of Research

Prior to joining the research team at AI Global Media, Jeremy was a teacher of English and Head of Media Studies at a Secondary and Sixth Form School in Warwickshire. He is very diligent in his approach to research, ensuring his team adopt similar methodologies to ensure AI recognises and showcases some of the best businesses across various jurisdictions and industries.

Jeremy was educated in Canada, at Dalhousie University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Literature. He also studied at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, earning a diploma in FASL and the University of New Brunswick where he gained a Bachelor of Education.

Jeremy has been married to Laura for 12 years and together they have 2 sons, Leif and Bauer, plus a dog called Harley and a cat called Grayson. Jeremy enjoys reading, writing, drawing, video editing and riding his motorcycle in his spare time. He attends Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, currently holding the rank of a purple belt; he also teaches beginners Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the club.

Sean Wilkins – Operations Manager

Sean came to AI Global Media in 2014 and rapidly became a vital and most trusted employee.  Sean has worked in numerous areas of the business including finance, HR, sales and training which has given him a great overview of the business which in-turn allows Sean to maintain professionalism and customer focus in all projects he is involved with.  Employee engagement and happiness is important to Sean, he manages our major team building activities each year, such events are something the entire management team are passionate about.

Sean lives with his partner Kate and has a rugby playing son.  Sean is very active enjoying road cycling, distance running, football and mountain walking.  Sean is a lover of the outdoors and spends much of his free time participating in outdoor activities with his son, his partner and with friends.
