AI Global Media is a Burton-upon-Trent digital media group looking to recruit a highly motivated Sales Administrator to join sales team.

The starting salary will be £24,000 per annum basic salary plus commission (typical OTE £27,000). The basic salary will rise to £25,000 on completion of 6-month probationary period.

The Sales Administrator will be responsible for assisting the sales team in achieving the sales goals by helping manage workloads and supporting other members of the team with administrative duties, including processing sales orders, updating CRM and responding to customer queries, covering annual leave as well as helping communicate with clients via phone calls.

The successful candidate will report directly into and work closely with our Sales Manager to determine where you can have the most impact. The Sales Administrator will support by way of updating and circulating reports, and ensuring daily tasks are completed, as well as helping to motivate the team! We see the role becoming proactive in helping the Sales Manager to plan campaigns designed to maximise our revenue opportunity throughout the whole sales pipeline and function.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Help to manage workloads by supporting other members of the team with administrative duties, including processing sales orders, updating CRM and responding to emails
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, dealing with customer queries, or directing them to the correct person
  • Support the sales manager by way of updating and circulating reports, and ensuring the daily tasks are completed
  • Work alongside the sales manager to determine where you can have the most impact and assist the team in achieving their goals
  • Become proactive overtime in helping the sales manager to plan campaigns designed to maximise our revenue opportunity
  • Provide cover from time to time in other teams across the sales department
  • Check data accuracy in CRM
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information
  • Communicate important feedback from customers or team members
  • Stay up to date with new products and features
  • Help encourage and motivate sales team to achieve daily targets
  • Assist with managing schedules
  • Proof reading and ensuring customer mails are correct in terms of content and layout
  • Provide cover for members of the sales team on leave
