Founders Hung Ton and Sang Nguyen launched Pho 90 in 2019 and dreamed of bringing a complimentary menu of dishes, from all over Vietnam, to Canada. Although neither had owned a restaurant before, the pair were passionate about cooking high-quality dishes that would delight their patrons’ senses. The restaurant employs three expert teams of highly trained chefs that create masterful delicacies from north, south and central Vietnam.

Pho 90 delivers classic Vietnamese cuisine such as Pho, Broken Rice dishes, Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Hue Hot Sauce and Sate Beef Noodles. Sang Nguyen has ancestral roots in the Saigon and Cho Lon Area, where Broken Rice dishes, Sate Beef noodles and south style Pho originate. Hung Ton brings dishes from the central region such as Bun Bo Hue and Hue Hot Sauce. The restaurant also has a full page of vegetarian and vegan offerings for diners that want to eat fresh without compromising on flavour.

Bún Chả Hà Nội, originating from Northern Vietnam, is a delicious combination of grilled pork meatballs, thin vermicelli and fresh vegetables served in a flavourful sauce. This beautiful dish was introduced by Anthony Bourdain to the former US President, Barack Obama, on Anthony Bourdain’s CNN show Parts Unknown.

From humble beginnings, Pho 90 has since gone on to win numerous awards with one of their chefs winning Humber’s Iron Chef Competition in 2022. As footfall continues to grow for the restaurant, the team’s efforts are continually recognised for delivering exceptional, authentic tastes to customers.
